Afternoon Rain
May 27, 2007 10:52 PM
On Saturday afternoon we had a heavy rainstorm pass overhead, and I thought it would make a great subject for a short film. I shot in HD at 24p, some shots with the 35mm adapter and some without. I'm really happy with how this one turned out.
I think what I like most about making short movies is how it can take you instantly to a place and let you feel what it was like to be there. Hopefully the shots I captured let you feel what it was like to be stuck inside while the rain is coming down. It's posted on my Movie Gallery page.

New Movie Gallery

If you take a look at the menu on the left, you'll see a new category for movies that I've made. I have a feeling that there will be many posted in the months to come. The photo that I put with this post is actually a frame grab from the HV20 camcorder (highly compressed from the original HD size). In one word, the camera ROCKS. So, mosey on over to the movie gallery and see if there is anything there that you haven't watched yet. So far, most of what is there is just me messing around with the Letus35 adapter. I hope to post some HD stuff soon.
